After 19 years of breeding Simmentals the Johnstones decided a change was in order. After much research Shorthorns came up trumps, this breed in our opinion reflected the ability to fulfill a wide range of markets. Since making this decision we have enjoyed the ease of people seeking our cattle as most of our stock now goes directly to feedlots with a few also going to backgrounding.
